Nick Hedderly graduated from
Birmingham School of Art in 1984 and has lived and worked in Nottingham since.
New work
derives its inspiration from the City of London including views of bridges and
the environment along the banks of the Thames - the work includes paintings of
buildings that are already starting to become iconic urban imagery. Together
with his Midlands based cityscapes, these subjects continue to provide the
inspiration for Hedderly's work.
Public
collections include Nottingham Castle Gallery and Derby Museum and Art
Gallery.
